    The 6th Edition of the Islington Festival of Music and Art has been announced. This will be a 10-day celebration of fine music and world-class musicians, in 9 varied venues around the Borough of Islington, London.

  • Portuguese Stamp for the Maestro!

    CTT Portugal, the Company which makes Stamps, has announced a new Series of 4 stamps to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Orquestra Clássica da Madeira, with whom Martin has established a long and happy working relationship. Martin is extremely thrilled that the orchestra and CTT decided that one of the stamps should be a photograph of Martin conducting the orchestra last year in Funchal, in a performance of Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5. The stamp costs €1,20!
