• Portuguese Stamp for the Maestro!

  CTT Portugal, the Company which makes Stamps, has announced a new Series of 4 stamps to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Orquestra Clássica da Madeira, with whom Martin has established a long and happy working relationship. Martin is extremely thrilled that the orchestra and CTT decided that one of the stamps should be a photograph of Martin conducting the orchestra last year in Funchal, in a performance of Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5. The stamp costs €1,20!

• Islington Festival of Music and Art Fundraiser Concert

  Martin and Co-Founder and Diretor Joana Ly will give the annual fundraising concert on January 24th: this event sold out in 16 hours!

• Nosferatu

  In November last year Martin was in the recording studio in London, conducting a large orchestra in the music composed by Robin Carolan for the Film "Nosferatu", written and directed by Robert Eggers. This film is due to be released on New Year's Day 2025!

• London Recitals

  Martin will play 2 Violin and Piano Recitals this Autumn in London with Joana Ly (violin)
  They will return to the Concert Series in Marlbrough, and then visit the Highgate Music Society.
